Powers of Attorney

A power of attorney is a document that allows you to appoint a person or organization to handle your affairs while you're unavailable or unable to do so. The person or organization you appoint is referred to as an "Attorney-in-Fact" or "Agent." The most common types are general power of attorney and special (or limited) power of attorney. Another popular power of attorney form is the health care power of attorney.

At The Law Offices of Andrew J. Hauser, Ltd., we discuss the benefits and potential draw-backs to different powers of attorney, and we make sure our clients can make an informed decision as to which type (or types) is appropriate for their unique circumstances. We also advise our clients on how they can be revoked in the event they become unwanted.
